Photography is something that I’m passionate about. From my website you’ll see that I love photographing landscapes. Getting up at what feels like the dead of night to get to a location in time for sunrise might sound mad, but once you’ve seen one sunrise in an amazing location it can begin to get addictive. The early mornings are starting to pay of as in 2014 one of my images was shortlisted for Landscape Photographer of the Year, then a commended image in both 2014 and 2015 for Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year.
It's also such an honour to be able to photograph and capture moments that will last a lifetime, from a wedding day, to photographing a beloved fur-child (pet!) or kids having fun on lifestyle shoot. It’s all these moments that make up the rich tapestry of life… a tapestry which should be remembered and cherished.
When I’m not “doing photography” I can generally be found outside with my ever so happy Springer Spaniel Dudley, or off exploring the Scottish Highlands and Islands with my husband John (plus the camera and Dudley). I also have a PhD in Veterinary Parasitology, but that’s another story (feel free to ask me anything about the protozoan parasite Toxoplasma gondii!).
